A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 195 × 147 cm. That is roughly 2.87 m² of floor, about 6.4' × 4.8'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as approx. 8 mm. Weight is given as ap. 8 kg.
