Origin Iran, format 300 × 204 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. That is roughly 6.12 m² of floor, about 9.8' × 6.7'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as approx. 8 mm. Weight is given as ap. 18 kg.

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. Being recent, the pile shows little wear and holds its full height.
