This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 80 × 132 cm. The covered area is about 1.06 m² (2.6' × 4.3'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool, silk. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
