Overview

This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 300 × 300 cm. The covered area is about 9 m² (9.8' × 9.8'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

What it is made of

Stated material: new wool, silk, silk warp. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
