Stated material: new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 10 mm. Weight is given as approx. 2 kg.

Format and use

The rug is rectangular. A small format, at home in a hallway, beside a bed, or in front of a bench.

Fineness of the knotting

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.

How it reads

Colour is recorded as red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.

Age and condition

Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. As a contemporary piece the pile is still even and largely unwalked.
