Origin Iran, format 82 × 119 cm — a Nain made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 0.98 m² (2.7' × 3.9'). Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.

Materials and construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.
