Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as approx. 8 mm. Weight is given as ap. 45 kg.

The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.

Knot density and quality

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

How it reads

Colour is recorded as red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.

Age and condition

Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. As a contemporary piece the pile is still even and largely unwalked.
