Origin Iran, format 96 × 156 cm — a Kashan made entirely by hand. That is roughly 1.5 m² of floor, about 3.1' × 5.1'.

What it is made of

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

Format and use

A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.

Fineness of the knotting

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.

On the colourway

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
