Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-woven throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

How it is made

As a flatweave this piece has no pile: front and back carry the same pattern, and it lies very flat.

On the colourway

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Handmade rugs always show slight colour shifts from knot to knot — that is a mark of hand work, not a defect.
