This Tabriz comes from Iran and measures 151 × 100 cm. The covered area is about 1.51 m² (5' × 3.3'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 8 mm. Weight is given as ap. 5 kg.

Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. Being recent, the pile shows little wear and holds its full height.
