Overview

A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 200 × 255 cm. It covers approximately 5.1 m², or 6.6' × 8.4'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Construction

Stated material: new wool, silk, silk warp. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
