Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 10 mm. Weight is given as ap. 20 kg.

The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.

Fineness of the knotting

The stated knot density is 300,000–399,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

Colour and appearance

Colour is recorded as multicolour. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.

Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. As a contemporary piece the pile is still even and largely unwalked.
