Origin Iran, format 102 × 149 cm — a Nain made entirely by hand. It covers approximately 1.52 m², or 3.3' × 4.9'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.
Materials and construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.
