About this rug

A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 153 × 100 cm. The covered area is about 1.53 m² (5' × 3.3'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

What it is made of

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 8 mm. Weight is given as ap. 5 kg.

The rug is rectangular. A format for a smaller room, or the area directly in front of a sofa.
