Overview

A Tabriz from Iran, measuring 505 × 312 cm. It covers approximately 15.76 m², or 16.6' × 10.2'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 10 mm. Weight is given as approx. 50 kg.
