Origin Iran, format 252 × 335 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. The covered area is about 8.44 m² (8.3' × 11'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
