Hand-knotted in Iran: a Tabriz of 150 × 223 cm. The covered area is about 3.35 m² (4.9' × 7.3'). Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Stated material: new wool, silk, silk warp. It is entirely hand-knotted. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.

The rug is rectangular. At this size it anchors a living room as the central surface.

The stated knot density is 500,000–599,999 knots/m². Very fine knotting of this kind takes many times the working hours and shows correspondingly precise pattern work.

Colour is recorded as Weiß / beige. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
