A Tabriz from India, measuring 342 × 240 cm. It covers approximately 8.21 m², or 11.2' × 7.9'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.
Construction
Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 10 mm. Weight is given as ap. 30 kg.
