Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-woven throughout. Pile height is given as approx. 6 mm. Weight is given as ap. 9 kg.

The rug is rectangular. Large enough to hold a full seating group.
Weave
As a flatweave this piece has no pile: front and back carry the same pattern, and it lies very flat.
Colour and appearance
Colour is recorded as multicolour. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
Age
Stated age: contemporary, 0–20 years old. Being recent, the pile shows little wear and holds its full height.
