Construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10 mm.

The rug is rectangular. A large format for open-plan rooms or formal reception spaces.

Fineness of the knotting

The stated knot density is 400,000–499,999 knots/m². At this density even small-scale motifs can be worked out cleanly.

On the colourway

It is catalogued under red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
