Overview

Origin Iran, format 100 × 152 cm — a Tabriz made entirely by hand. That is roughly 1.52 m² of floor, about 3.3' × 5'. Tabriz is one of the oldest and most important weaving centres in Persia.

Construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool, silk. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 7-10mm.
