Origin Iran, format 153 × 200 cm — a Nain made entirely by hand. That is roughly 3.06 m² of floor, about 5' × 6.6'. Nain rugs are traditionally finely knotted, with pale ivory and blue palettes.

Construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 10-12mm.

A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.
