Origin Iran, format 285 × 390 cm — a Loribaft made entirely by hand. That is roughly 11.12 m² of floor, about 9.4' × 12.8'.

Materials and construction

Stated material: new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

Size and placement

The rug is rectangular. A format for large rooms, with space for an entire seating arrangement.

Knot density and quality

The stated knot density is 200,000–299,999 knots/m². In the mid range the pattern stays clearly legible without making the rug delicate.

On the colourway

The stated colourway is red and orange. With traditionally dyed wool, small variations of tone within one field are normal.
