Origin Iran, format 140 × 224 cm — a Kerman made entirely by hand. That is roughly 3.14 m² of floor, about 4.6' × 7.3'. Kerman is associated with soft colour transitions and floral compositions.

Materials and construction

Stated material: cotton warp, new wool. The rug was hand-knotted throughout. Pile height is given as 5-7mm.

The rug is rectangular. A size where sofa and armchairs can rest their front legs on the rug.

Colour and appearance

The stated colourway is multicolour. Depending on the light and the direction you look from, the surface reads lighter or darker — a property of every handmade rug.
